Coachella Valley Firebirds Celebrates Grand Opening of Its Official Team Merchandise Store With Ribbon-cutting Ceremony

Situated in Palm Desert at El Paseo and San Pablo Ave., Team Store Offers Everything on Fans’ Must-Have Firebirds Merchandise List

PALM SPRINGS, CA (November 15, 2021) – Following the recent unveiling of the AHL’s 32nd franchise, the Coachella Valley Firebirds’ team name and brand, today the Firebirds celebrated the grand opening of its official team merchandise store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Located on the northwest corner of El Paseo and San Pablo Ave. (73-470 El Paseo, Suite F2, Palm Desert CA 92260), the grand opening featured remarks from speakers including Kathleen Kelly, mayor of Palm Desert; Jan Harnik, mayor pro-tem; Randy Florence, president/CEO, Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce; Karina Quintinilla, councilperson; former NHL ice hockey goaltender, Grant Fuhr; and Steve Fraser, president of Coachella Valley Arena and the Firebirds.

Offering a wide variety of official Firebirds and Kraken merchandise including all AHL and NHL Officially Licensed Seattle Kraken and Coachella Valley Firebirds gear, hats, hoodies, t-shirts, jerseys, pucks, and more. Additional items for sale on the online store at shop.cvfirebirds.com. To celebrate the store’s opening, customers who make a purchase of $50 or more in the store will receive a free gift.

The store features a 3D model of the Coachella Valley Arena, offering the first glimpse to the community showing how the arena will look upon completion. An account representative will be on site Monday through Friday to share season ticket, premium, and suite sales packages and answer any questions about the team or arena.

The store will be open for business Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with the potential for additional seasonal hours. The Coachella Valley Firebirds Team Store operates in accordance with the latest COVID-19 safety measures as recommended by the CDC and state and local agencies.
