Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs today unveiled the rollout of frictionless checkout stores powered by Burlingame, CA-based AiFi, the worldwide leader in frictionless technology. The AiFi Grab & Go Stands within the venue, offer fans a revolutionary way to enjoy refreshments and snacks during events. These state-of-the-art stands are designed to enhance the fan experience. Fans are now empowered to select which food and drink items they’d like to purchase and walk out without waiting in line or scanning to pay so they can get back to their seats faster.

At AiFi Grab & Go Stands, fans can choose from a variety of food and beverage options, including snacks, sodas, and alcoholic beverages. To streamline the purchasing process, fans will be required to pre-authorize a $25 card charge before entering the stand. This pre-authorization is like gas stations when gas is pumped and will not result in an actual charge. If the guest spends less than $25, a credit will be issued within 3-5 days, with the average often being quicker. The pre-authorization drops off the credit card statement as other retail store purchases do. Debit transactions will have a 3–5-day credit.
To purchase items, fans can simply tap their credit card or use Apple Pay / Google Pay devices. A receipt will be available upon exit by scanning a QR code, and the receipt will be emailed to the guest within minutes.
In addition to the convenience of AiFi Grab & Go Stands, guests can also expect staff to be present to verify identification before purchasing alcohol, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
