Acrisure Arena, the newest 11,000-capacity world-class venue in Southern California opened on December 14, officially sold out its inaugural opening week of shows: comedy icons Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle (Dec. 14), Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Doobie Brothers (Dec. 15), and regional Mexican phenomenon Grupo Firme (Dec. 16), which sold out within two hours. The announcement comes on the heels of a number of concert, comedy, and family show onsales, demonstrating the diverse and high-quality talent the arena will draw to the Coachella Valley. The week was capped with a 4-3 win and sold-out Coachella Valley Firebirds game (Dec. 18), the 32nd American Hockey League franchise and an affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Seattle Kraken.

The expansion Firebirds fare shattering AHL merchandise sales records. Sales are of the highest in league history, with over $1M sold before the team’s first-ever home game occurred at Acrisure on December 18.
Acrisure Arena’s food and beverage provider, OVG Hospitality, reported brisk sales for each of the opening events with gross revenue over $1.5M for the grand opening week. We successfully opened each of our food stands both inside and on the exterior of the building, offering fans a wide selection of offerings.
The desire for premium opportunities to entertain clients and family and enjoy a night out has fueled the excitement for additional seating opportunities. Fans who want to ensure they don’t miss a show or game can take advantage of the Concert Access Membership program, which offers the closest seats to the concert stage, in an end-stage configuration. The seating location allows priority access to purchase the best tickets to all concerts, family shows, and sporting events at Acrisure Arena before they go on sale.

While Premium Club seats may be sold out, Concert Access seating will guarantee seat holders the ability to purchase seats in Acrisure Arena for all concerts and family shows first – before the general public onsale, without worrying the show will be sold out.
