American Idol Winner and Indio Native Will Sing the National Anthem and Drop the Ceremonial Puck
The Coachella Valley Firebirds announced today that American Idol winner and Indio native Abi Carter will sing the National Anthem and drop the ceremonial puck at this Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Admirals.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and be in their seats prior to game time to make sure they do not miss out on the pregame festivities.
Don’t miss Abi this Friday at Acrisure Arena. The vocalist from California’s Coachella Valley who stole the hearts of American Idol viewers as the 2024 season’s winner, starting with her rendition of Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” which earned her a Platinum Ticket.
Before her breakout moment on American Idol thrust her into a sudden spotlight of larger proportions than she had ever anticipated, Abi was preparing to study Psychology, but her draw to writing and performing music became impossible to ignore. While juggling school, she would play gigs in restaurants, country clubs, birthday parties, or busk on the street, and now she’s more than ready to take things to the next level.
The Firebirds host the Milwaukee Admirals in game two of the best-of-seven Western Conference Finals on Friday, May 31st at 7pm PT.
